Nilmini De Silva, Love at First Sight (September Theme: Travel)

Ever since I had the chance to leave my island home I made a pact with myself that I would spend quality time on every continent. Antarctica was the last of the continents I needed to get too and a sabbatical year in 2010 made that possible. Gold Harbour in South Georgia, is one of the most amazing places that I have visited. The sights of those King and Gentoo penguins and the elephant seals against the glacier is a sight that is imprinted on my memory for life.
