Dee Ray, Longwood nesting box (ENTRIES CLOSED - June theme: Home)

In the 1960s sheep grazing stopped in the Longwood Oak forest and birch trees took over the forest. Conservationists are now cutting down the birches which were strangling the oaks and the wildlife. nesting boxes are now placed on the Oaks to make get the birds and bats to make the forest their home again
