Mark Hamilton, Long Way (October theme: Connections)

Southend Pier at Southend-on-sea, England is the longest pleasure pier in the world at 2.16kms long. Extending well into the River Thames, due to very low tides. Taken with a fisheye lens, I thought a monochrome treatment would enhance the image and give a more dramatic sky.
