Archie Williamson, Lines at work (October theme: Lines)

The vertical lines on the apron represent a rhythm and repetition of the life of a line cook. This work symbolically represents the discipline and dedication behind each dish. Photographically, the structured lines contrast the organic movement of hands and natural shape of the oysters which highlight a balance between routine and creativity. I am celebrating the unseen artistry of line cooks.
