Shadab Ishtiyak, Lightning (ENTRIES CLOSED - August theme: Weather)

This photo was taken in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Even though Rajshahi is located in the northern region of Bangladesh, it gets intensely hot here. It experiences extreme heat during summer and heavy rainfall during the monsoon. Before the rain starts, the sky turns so dark and ominous that it feels as if night has fallen, accompanied by continuous strikes of lightning.
