Rudy Kalele, Lightning (ENTRIES CLOSED - MINIMALISM)

Photo captured 3rd Jan 2026. How I did it? A massive storm was passing through Canberra in the late summer evening. I got my trusty Canon R5 mk II geared up on a tripod in the balcony, with Canon RF 24 -70mm lens. Started shooting long exposure's to capture the lightning happening all around. Was able to capture a number of shots, but was really pleased with this single horizontal strike from left to right with a few branching out. It further strikes out against the pink/orange cloudy golden hour background. Settings, f/5, exposure 15 seconds, ISO 100, focal length 70mm, manual white balance. Captured in RAW, minimal processing in Lightroom Classic. NO AI.
