Jarvis Smallman, Lightbender (JUNIOR 2023)

in a very remote part of south coast WA during a winter storm, a small group of surfers live to surf these incredible waves of high consequence. Local surfer Chris Shannahan was in the spot as the biggest wave of the day rolled out of the deep cold ocean. I managed to capture the afternoon light as it poked through the clouds and lit up the wave.
