Shayle Schirmer, Light & Shadow (LIGHT/SHADOW - Entries close 30 September 2026)

A simple set up with a fork, egg and torch. Black board used for the background and to set the egg on. I used a tripod for the slow shutter speed. Taken with Canon R7 and EF 100mm macro with adapter. ISO 100 f5.6 0.3sec Minor edits in Lightroom to bring out the texture in the egg shell and convert to black and white.
