Bina Taylor, Lessons from the lucky country (Landscape 2017)

The biggest lesson I have learnt since picking up the camera for the first time a year ago wasnt from a teacher, a fellow photographer or a book - but from the beautiful land we get to call home. In exploring our big and beautiful backyard I have seen moments that left me in awe of how fortunate I am to be there in that moment. To witness the way the sun sets the sky and earth alight, to the dark and scary force where the wind and water work together. This entry is dedicated to the moments that mother nature and our beautiful land taught me to stay humble, grateful and forever inspired.
