Nilmini De Silva, Last Rays (August Theme: Weather)

Located on the edge of the Australian Continent, Shark Bay is one of the world’s greatest wilderness treasures. I was fortunate to spend a few days here earlier this year and see this incredible landscape from the air. This is a composite from two images I took virtually a few minutes apart, then put together in post. I took this image while on a flight at the end of the day, just as the sun was setting and we were surrounded by cloud. The biridas on the ground make it seem like an other worldly landscape.
