Betty Collerson, Lake Eyre (Landscape 2019)

Lake Eyre in South Australia is an iconic Australian landmark. Usually a bone dry salt lake, it comes to life once in a while when heavy rain fall and food waters enter the rivers systems that feed it. This year, due to the unprecedented weather conditions in parts of northern Australia, Lake Eyre is the most full anyone has seen in 50 years. Thus, like thousand others, had to see it for myself.
