Betty Collerson, Lake Eyre (Landscape 2019)

Lake Eyre in South Australia is an iconic Australian landmark. Usually a bone dry salt lake, it comes to life from time to time when heavy rain fall and foods enter the rivers systems that feed it. This year, due to the unprecedented weather conditions that affected parts of northern Australia, Lake Eyre is the most full anyone has seen in 50 years. Thus, I (and thousand others) had to go and see it for myself.
