Cape Tiene, Lagoon & Trifid Nebulae (May theme: The night sky)

These two nebulae are visible when you look up at the constellation of Sagittarius. They are giant interstellar clouds about 4000 light years away. This image took 4 1/2 hours of exposures in one night.
