Andrew Smallman, Kowmung River (November theme: Wild)

The Kowmung river provides part of Sydney's water supply. This section of the river is accessible only by an overnight hike. I made this photo several years ago on Fuji Velvia 35mm film in a Canon EOS 10 camera with 24mm lens on a tripod in the water. Manual focus, f16. I scanned the transparency on an Epson Perfection V700 flatbed scanner and processed the file in Photoshop. I returned twice subsequently but found the water level higher and my composition submerged.
