Sascha Shipley, Kookaburra (Wildlife and Animal 2019)

During a road trip up north to Moore Park I saw this juvenile kookaburra. I was drawn to its young demeanor and cute fluffy appearance as it sat happily on a fence looking at me. It wasn't phased by my camera, and allowed me to get quite close. It was probably hoping I would give it something to eat!
