Kevin Wilson, Kinetic Abstractions (November theme: Blur)

These images explore movement as a force that transforms the familiar into the abstract. Through intentional camera movement and long exposures, I've captured the essence of motion itself - the way it bends light, distorts perception, and reveals the hidden energy within static scenes. Each photograph represents a different interpretation of kinetic energy: the spiral vortex suggesting cosmic rotation, the radiating burst evoking explosive force, and the swirling vortex creating a sense of being drawn into motion's centre. Rather than freezing movement, these works celebrate it as a creative element that paints with light and time.
