Mireille Pizzo, Karst formations & Li river (August theme: Blue)
This was taken in September 2017 in the area of Guilin, South East China. Guilin is one of the most picturesque sites in China, very much loved by Chinese people and foreigners. It has a number of natural elements that come together within the span of a couple hundred kms. Due to its calm and shallow nature, Li river is very friendly to fisherman and becomes animated with life during the day. But in the morning, its still waters reflect the dramatic witnesses that stand alongside: the beautiful karst formations. Taken at blue hour from an elevated viewpoint 500 steps up the mountain
