Amber Brentnall, Japanese Maple (ANIMAL & NATURE 2023)

It's amazing how emotions can influence our perceptions. I received some sad news on the day I took these images. I just sat and stared at the beautiful Japanese Maple I planted in my backyard a few years ago, appreciating it's new growth and the contrast of colours between the vibrant green leaves and its burgundy-pink dainty blossoms. I thought I'd have a bit fun with some ICM experimentation, these images were the result. I love the colours, and they definitely lift my mood.
