Ella Verhagen, Interconnection (CREATIVE 2020)

After finding a small, baby bird deceased in my backyard, I wanted to display its passing on in a delicate and fragile way. By holding the bird in my hand, I felt the connection we have to the world around us. The bird was so bright and beautiful against the harshness of the world.
