Fiona Pennisi-Mitchell , Inherited Light (ENTRIES CLOSED - SOFT LIGHT)

This image was taken with an iPhone 16 Pro, handheld, using long exposure on Night Mode. Minimal adjustments were made in Snapseed. Inherited Light combines handmade objects connected through family and memory: a doily crocheted by my grandmother, who taught me the craft, alongside a wall hanging of my own making. The brass candelabra was passed on to me by my brother. I arranged the scene to explore inheritance though craft, domestic ritual and light.
