This photo was taken on the Hot Water Beach in Coromandel, New Zealand. It was a gloomy day with waves rushing in as the tide changed and clouds rolled in above us. I remember capturing this photo, wanting to highlight the darkness contrasting against the blue water. Thinking that I had never seen something as beautiful as this.
