Lana Black, Iceland black sand beach & shards of glacier at sunrise (ENTRIES CLOSED - SOFT LIGHT)
Scattered across Iceland’s black sand beaches lie glacial fragments that have broken away upstream and journeyed through icy river tributaries before being returned to shore by the sea. Polished by the relentless movement of the waves, each piece rests like a shard of crystal against the volcanic sand. Constantly shifting with the tide and slowly surrendering to the elements, the melting ice creates a fleeting landscape. Canon EOS R8 | Lense 24>105mm (38mm) | F20 | SS 0.5s | On tripod
