Karen Calder , I'm Watching You (January Theme: Blue)

The iridescent blue rings and patterns of the Peacock Flounder are stunning and they are one of the few fish species that can change their color quite rapidly to camouflage with its environment. They use their vision and hormones to adapt to the color change. They take the color of their surrounding environment and habitat to hide from predators so will be unable to change color if their vision is damaged.
