Emilie Bourke, Honeyeaters in the Valley of the Winds (September Theme: Birds)

Two White Plumed Honeyeaters enjoying the nectat of a Long-leaf Corkwood (Hakea suberea) in the Kata Tjuta National park. I was on a walk of the Valley of the Winds when these two Honeyeaters flew down to a tree in front of me and seemed to put on a bit of a show. They let me get within a few short metres of them and hung around for me to get several good shots.
