Homelessness in Australia is not just a people problem, the homes of Australia’s wildlife have been disappearing due to land clearance for people related activities. Australia’s birds have been loosing their nesting hollows as trees are felled, from large Cockatoos to smaller parrots and lorikeets they are all competing for fewer tree hollows. “... Ahhh look a tree hollow, Is it suitable? It must be large enough to fit into. Is it available for occupancy? Oh no! It is too small and already occupied!...”
