Glen Bucklar, Hiking Bunya Forest (Landscape 2021)
It was just after sunrise and the the forests were thick with fog and mist. The hoped for outlook was veiled by white, and thunder rumbled overhead. These shots were taken as my father and I were rushing back to the car to beat the approaching storm. This natural arch appeared, inviting us through. As Dad went through he stopped and looked back to check I was okay. As thunder rumbled and he saw that I was, he turned and headed on out. I took one more shot and chased him back to the car. By the time we got there we were drenched. The Bunya forests are ancient and enchanting, especially in weather like that morning. These photos attempt to capture their mystical and enchanting atmosphere.
