Peter Kewley, Hawk attempts to steal Lapwing Eggs (Animal & Nature 2021)

A large Brown Hawk circling the Lapwing-Spur Winged Plover nest set off a huge disturbance as the Hawk landed near the nest and the Lapwing parents took to the sky repeatedly dive bombing and screaming at the Hawk, eventually the Hawk was scared away to be chased through the sky until well out of the way, the Lapwings returned but stayed off the nest for some time, hopefully the eggs survive.
