Mary O'Byrne, Hard Border (February Theme: Shadows)

The West Australian midday winter sun created this hard shadow border between the upper and lower parts of the succulent leaf. The Honey bee stopped right on the line because it has the innate ability to distinguish between dark and light and can determine edges. The photo itself, I hope creates a metaphor for the hard decisions in life.
