Pedro Palma, Happiness is Priceless (September theme: What Matters to Me )
During a trip to Portugal our family visited Coimbra, a student's city, well famous for its highly successful Universities and for the astonishing architecture of some of the old buildings and monuments. While, we only spent a few days there, we were lucky enough to come across this beautiful Old Cathedral (Sé Velha), a Sao Tiago Romanesque Style Church. Leo, our two year old boy, wanted to climb all the way up and sat on the main entrance door step. At first, all he wanted was to look down and watch people passing by, but getting bored after awhile, he started to play with a pink ballon that he got, moments before, from a waitress in one of the coffee shops in this little plaza where the church was situated, and where we stopped for a coffee. I was delighted with this moment and took my time to stop, watch and photograph. This is the photo that I chose. While his mama was excited playing with the pink balloon, he took a moment to look out and contemplate papa.
