Judith Morgan, Halong Mist (MINIMALISM - Entries close 31 July 2026)

This image was taken on a misty day at Halong Bay in Vietnam way back in 2007. Thick mist produced a greenish atmosphere throughout most of the day. I used a Nikon D70S camera with a 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 lens at focal length 27mm. Exposure was 1/350s at f/9.5, at ISO 400. The image was processed in Lightroom, with a small crop and vignette. A radial gradient was applied to slightly darken the boat.
