Ann Somerville-Charles, Grey-headed Flying Foxes (February theme: Wild)
Since 2010, a colony of up to 46,000 Grey-headed Flying Foxes has been living in Adelaide Botanic Park, South Australia. Every evening towards dusk, thousands of bats can be seen roosting in the trees. They are listed as a vulnerable, protected species. Camera details: Canon Powershot SX60 HS, f/6.3, 1/320, ISO 125.
