Rosie Steggles, Golden Stairway (Landscape 2021)

The golden stairway at WA Museum Boolar Bardip is a magnificent structure linking the old an new buildings and was designed by architects Hassell+OMA to weave its way between levels as a dreamtime snake of Aboriginal legend. I found the warm glow of the metal and the crisp cold rigidity of the stairs drew me into the interiors of the building like a story book opening before me.
