Robyn Elliott, Golden clouds of honey (February theme: Great Outdoors)
I was taking macro shots and decided to get a little creative and throw the rules out the window. Normally macro is shot at a lower F stop to allow for a wider depth of filed, but for this shot I wanted a soft background so I opened my aperture wide open to F2.8. This only gave me a very thin depth of filed but I like the effect of just the Bee's eye in focus and the rest soft, like golden clouds
