Hima Patel, Goldcoast Skyline (February theme: Amazing places)

Captured at 11:00 AM on a cloudy day, this photo of the Gold Coast skyline marks the beginning of my first trip to this beautiful place. As I stood there, the soft light from the overcast sky seemed to slow down time, giving everything a peaceful, almost dreamlike quality. I felt a sense of awe and excitement, taking in the towering skyscrapers that seemed to reach for the sky while the quiet beach waves hummed in the distance. The clouds hung low, giving the city a calm, muted glow, and for a moment, I just paused to absorb it all—feeling both small and completely connected to the vastness around me. It was the perfect mix of wonder and serenity, a memory I’ll always carry with me from this first trip.
