Kathy Brown, Go Anna! (SINGLE SHOT 2023)

One day while photographying birds i heard a loud splash and to my surprise when i turned around i saw this very large Goanna swimming like crazy across the waterhole at Kings Plains NP. I never knew Goanna's could swim so well let alone so fast! it was obviously swimming across to the other side where it was thick with reeds and small birds and other wildlife. I was happy to have found i managed to see and capture this moment as it was a first for me.
