Veronica Williams, Friends (May theme: Rural life)

Driving in outback South Australia, I stopped to photograph the rural scenery. These curious cows slowly approached me, and seemed as interested in me as I was in them. They were such placid and gentle animals. The original photograph showed them each wearing an ear tag (an indication, perhaps, of their destiny), but it took away from my experience with them, so I removed each one in editing.
