Anna Brozek, For the Forests (People 2021)

No palpable change has ever come without the proud defiance of the people. These citizens: mothers, doctors, artists, defenders, continue the legacy of all those who have stood before the crippling face of injustice, uniting in action and spirit, for themselves and future generations and howled; "enough." We are in a global climate emergency. This point in history is our last chance to preserve this Earth, the wild, us. To put a stop to the annihilation of ancient wonders, and the cultures and peoples rooted within them. This series follows the environmental movement in lutruwita/Tasmania today, and the 'everyday' people who make it to the frontlines. Channelling an inextinguishable resilience, their mission is to protect the last remaining forests at all costs, on a planet that does not depend on us, but where we so desperately depend on each other.
