Alicia Vaccaro, Footprints (MINIMALISM - Entries close 31 July 2026)

During sunrise at Lake Tyrrell, I was looking for reflections in the lake when I noticed clear boot prints leading into the pink water. I used this to create leading lines that invites the viewer to step into the water and further explore. The cloudy sky created great reflections. It was a very still morning but a long exposure ensured smooth water and soft clouds camera: Nikon Z6 lens: Nikon Z 24-200mm focal length: 27mm Shutter speed: 1.5 secs aperture: f/20 ISO: 100 tripod: Yes Filter: ND and polariser software edits: cloning to remove dust spots. Brighten image and enhance contrast so the footprints stand out more
