Ive always found it important to establish a connection with what you're shooting. This series of photos is the end result of sharing my lunch with a group of kids on the most western point of the African continent. Not being able to speak french, the words were unspoken. Standing almost waist deep in jeans, camera in hand surrounded by laughter and waves. No words, no worries.
