Petra Matthews, Flow (April theme: The ocean)

In psychology, “Flow” refers to a state of optimum experience. Some describe this as happiness, being “in the zone”, feeling focused and motivated, living both an energised and easeful life. I was fortunate to grow up at the other end of the Great Ocean Road. Water became my happy place and my escape. Regardless of whether I was by a quiet stream, water lapping at the bow of a boat or the crashing waves of the ocean.
