Clancy Read, Flight of the Albatross (June theme: Australian Landscape)
I have travelled around the world, but there is no place quite like Tasmania. I took this photo from a boat off the coast of Port Arthur when I was out to get a glimpse of the beautiful coastline. Incredibly, we stumbled upon a super-pod of bottlenose dolphins which we followed further out to sea. In higher winds we caught sight of hundreds of dolphins jumping next to our boat and hundreds of albatross working with the dolphins to catch fish. Australia has such diverse and beautiful sea life that pass through along the coast, and with fast approaching change in the sea environment due to climate change, we must fight to protect these animals at all cost.
