Grant Hunt, first light (January theme: First light)

It was August at Cradle Mountain in Tasmania but still the snow was thick on the ground in the early morning. I didn't have to venture far from my warm hotel room. One look out the window at first light told me there wasn't much time for a shot before the brilliant early morning colour disappeared. Fortunately for me, it lasted just long enough.
