I took this photograph of my friend fire twirling, which involves paraffin and an aluminium fire staff. This image captures the dance between human and fire, creating otherworldly mosaics in the night sky. Fire is something that creates so much beauty but is also a force so merciless, it hurts to the touch. The delicate movements with the flame paint a flower of symmetry in the dark sky and I feel so lucky to be able to witness such a beautiful connection between a person and fire.
