Mark Kriedemann, Farm Freeze (ENTRIES CLOSED - August theme: Weather)

Hoar frost brings cattle on a farm near Walcha to a near inanimate state amidst the equally inanimate grass and reeds, which have been heavily coated. Shot from a road nearby, I was able to include a large stretch of frozen grass and reeds using the longer end of my 100-400's range. The warm colouring of the cattle, provided an anchor in the landscape.
