Victoria McNeill, Far Away From Where I Am (Landscape 2019)

‘Far Away From Where I Am’ explores oceanscapes that play on light, tone, texture and scale. The images capture a serene stillness in time and space but the ocean is way more than that. Avoiding much represented cliches of coastline imagery, my work brings the scene closer to our eye yet you can sense the huge expanse of the sea.
