Amanda Clarke, Eyes Shut, World Open (July theme: Eyes)
In the heart of Australia's red centre, I shared a quiet moment with my camel companion, both of us facing the sacred silhouette of Uluru at sunset. What struck me wasn’t what we saw, but what we felt. With her eyes gently shut, the camel seemed to radiate calm and connection — a reminder that sometimes, the deepest way to see the world is to simply feel it. This image captures that unspoken bond, where closed eyes don’t mean blindness, but trust.
