Mark Hamilton, Escalators of Old (October theme: Connections)

Steps and staircases connecting different levels, well before we had lifts! Taken at Dover Castle in England. The Kings, Queens and Royalty that have walked these steps over the ages, so many stories....excuse the pun!! Hand held and due to the composition, I couldnt lean against anything for stability. A fisheye lens was used.
