Bikram Ghosh, Elements (LANDSCAPE 2022)

Here is a selection of my favorite images from the beautiful South Island of NZ. I named it “Elements” because - that is the very exact feeling all of these locations gave me, while I was capturing these images. Be it standing at the shore of the expansive ocean and looking at the sky meeting the horizon or balancing on delicate beside a stream \waterfall; I always find my inner kid jumping in joy and imaginations. The imagination of what’s beyond that horizon or is that where we could touch the sky or how much history the mountains have seen. Like the great Carl Sagan once said - “Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were, but without it we go nowhere” Through my photography, I keep my finding serenity in the elements of nature - where the environment is always tranquil and all you can hear are the crashing waters.
