The photograph, “Educated Rose,” emphasises how the educational values of humanity,- prevalent in the 21st century-, have replaced our initial value for nature. This is depicted through the rose as the focal point but is placed within the book, underlining that we have blended the two worlds. However, the majority of the background as the educational notes depict how we raise higher education on a pedestal. Moreover, the rose laying on its side shows how it is eventually going to die- similar to the appreciation of nature by humanity.
