Sarah McDonald, Dying Beauty (ANIMAL & NATURE 2022)

My dying rose photos were a spur of the moment thing, I was pruning my roses when inspiration struck! I quickly grabbed my camera and started photographing the dying petals. To me they were still beautiful, it was just a different stage of the flowers life and I felt my dying roses represented that beauty can be found in all stages or life, or in all ages of life. Something doesn't have to be new and young to be beautiful.
